After filing its instrument of accession, Uzbekistan became the 102nd Contracting State of the Hague Convention of October 5, 1961 Abolishing the Requirement of Legalization for Foreign Public Documents. The Convention will enter into force as of April 15, 2012. As a result, you are now able to get a Georgia Certificate of Authentication (or Apostille) for Uzbkeistan.

Oman Joins the Apostille Convention
On May 12, 2011, Oman joined the Hague Convention of October 5, 1961 Abolishing the Requirement of Legalization for Foreign Public Documents. Oman is the 101st Contracting State to file its instrument of accession and the Convention will become effective on January 13, 2012. Oman is also the first State of the Persian Gulf to join the Apostille Convention. Apostilles in Georgia will be provided for documents required for the country of Oman.
