Egypt Embassy or Consulate Legalization

June 28, 2019 By Atlanta Apostille

Do you need help with certifying documents for use in Egypt? Atlanta Apostille can help! We provide international document certification and can obtain an apostille certificate, authentications, U.S. State Department certifications, and embassy legalizations on documents for foreign use.

As the third most populous country in Africa, Egypt’s economy depends mainly on agriculture, petroleum, and tourism. To work in these fields in Egypt, you must get state certification, U.S. Department of State Certification, and Embassy Legalization or Consulate Legalization before any work can begin. You may be asked for an apostilled birth certificate or marriage certificate documentation for a business visa. We also have seen requests for an apostilled FBI background check. Whatever your needs, ensure you are trusting your important documentation to the professionals to guarantee the apostille is correctly processed for the greatest chance of approval by Egypt.

For individuals and businesses needing documents certified for use in Egypt, the government of Egypt has an embassy in Washington D.C. and four Consulate offices in the United States. The four offices are located in New York City, Chicago, Houston, and Los Angeles, respectively.

Did you know? We have the fastest turnaround times for all your apostille needs with same day apostille service for the most efficient certification. In order to process your documents, we will just need your original documents and our order form to be completed.

For any assistance in notarizing and certifying documentations to be used overseas, our staff is available to answer your questions and provide you with step-by-step assistance. We are in the office every day, Monday to Sunday, from 8 AM to 11 PM EST. Do not hesitate to call us at 404-323-4211, or e-mail [email protected].

Obtaining an apostille can be time-consuming, confusing, and a complete disaster if left into the hands of untrained non-professionals or employees. So to ensure every chance of success, make sure you are trusting your important documentation to those who fully understand the apostille process, as well as all the certifications and unique requirements of each and every country.

Why a Single Status Apostille Matters for Your Destination Wedding

May 1, 2019 By Atlanta Apostille

Are you planning on getting married in another country? If this country is a member of the Hague Apostille Convention, you will be asked to obtain documentation stating that you are currently not married, and to apostille said document.

There are three ways to obtain this kind of documentation depending on where you currently reside:

  1. Contact your local County Clerk’s office and request what may be referred to as a Single Status document, or a “No Record of Marriage” document. All County Clerk offices should be able to provide a Single Status document, since it does not require notarization.
  2. If you are in the United States, we would be happy to assist you by preparing a Single Status affidavit. We would write, sign, and notarize a sworn statement that shows that you currently are not married to anyone residing within the United States.
  3. If you are currently outside of the United States, reach out to your local U.S. Embassy or U.S. Consulate office. They can assist you in the process of acquiring a Single Status document, as well as having it signed, notarized, and then processed by our Washington D.C. apostille office.

For any assistance in preparing a Single Status affidavit for those residing in the United States, our staff is available to answer all of your questions and provide you with step-by-step assistance. We are available Monday to Sunday, from 8AM to 11pm EST. Do not hesitate to call us at 404-323-4211, or e-mail [email protected].

Assisting FBI Background Checks

October 5, 2014 By Atlanta Apostille

ink-card-fingerprinting-form-fd-258-300x300There are several ways to obtain a background check from the FBI.  With the proper authorization by the applicant, a family member or friend residing stateside can file an application and obtain the document from the FBI.  There are also third party service providers, such as the one offered by Atlanta Notaries & Fingerprinting in Atlanta, who can help you with your background check application—making things faster and easier.  Finally, there are FBI-approved channelers.  A list of these channelers can be found on the FBI website.

All applicants are required to submit their fingerprint for the background check application.  The FBI Criminal History Report can be submitted to Atlanta Apostille for apostille certification.  We have a Washington, DC, location to expedite the processing of these federal apostilles and authentications.

Unaccompanied Minors: Travelling to and From Mexico

February 17, 2014 By Atlanta Apostille

MexicoAs of last November, changes in Immigration Law in Mexico have created new requirements for minors (ages 17 and under) travelling to and from Mexico without their parents or legal guardian.  The minors must submit their immigration documents, as well as a notarized letter from the parent permitting the child to travel without them. This letter must be certified with an apostille stamp and be translated into Spanish.

Failing to comply with these regulations can lead to the passenger(s) being prohibited from boarding and/or a fine.
