Diploma Legalization and Certification for Saudi Arabia

August 3, 2019 By Atlanta Apostille

Are you planning to work in Saudi Arabia?  Do need your U.S. diploma legalized for Saudi Arabia for a new job offer? Or maybe you are wondering who can apostille a document? The opportunities for work overseas are endless and can be daunting, but know that Atlanta Apostille can help! We provide international document certification, and obtain apostilles, authentications, U.S. State Department certifications, and embassy legalizations on documents for foreign use.

The Kingdom of Saudi Arabia is not currently a member of the Hague Apostille Convention, which means that documents for this country require multiple steps for certification.

In order to apostille a degree and legalize your diploma, you will need to provide several documents from your alma mater and the company offering a position, such as a notarized copy of your college degree. We recommend that you contact the school’s registrar and request either the original diploma or color copy to get notarized.

To be considered qualified for a position of employment in Saudi Arabia, there are standards and requirements that have been issued by both the Saudi Ministry of Education and the Saudi Arabia Cultural Ministry. Online courses taken when acquiring your degree are not normally accepted, but they do allow twelve hours within a bachelors degree and six hours within a masters & Ph.D. Also keep in mind that they take into consideration content of the program undertaken by the student, location where the courses were taken, and several other factors which may delay the request or cause it to be rejected.  Presenting a diploma from an accredited U.S. university does not fully guarantee approval by the SACM. If the request for certification by the SACM is not approved, please note that the amount for the notarization and apostilling service is non-refundable.

Typically, this process of acquiring apostille services on a document for overseas use can be time consuming and complicated if done by yourself. We can certify your documents through the local offices, Secretary of State, federal agencies in Washington, D.C., and the UAE Embassy or Consulate offices.  Depending on the state of origin of your document, the process can take anywhere from two to three weeks. In order to process your documents, we will just need your original documents and our order form to be completed.

For any assistance in notarizing and certifying documentations to be used overseas by those residing in the United States, our staff is available to answer your questions and provide you with step-by-step assistance. We are in the office every day, Monday to Sunday, from 8 AM to 11 PM EST. Do not hesitate to call us at 404-323-4211, or e-mail david@atlantaapostille.com.

Assisting FBI Background Checks

October 5, 2014 By Atlanta Apostille

ink-card-fingerprinting-form-fd-258-300x300There are several ways to obtain a background check from the FBI.  With the proper authorization by the applicant, a family member or friend residing stateside can file an application and obtain the document from the FBI.  There are also third party service providers, such as the one offered by Atlanta Notaries & Fingerprinting in Atlanta, who can help you with your background check application—making things faster and easier.  Finally, there are FBI-approved channelers.  A list of these channelers can be found on the FBI website.

All applicants are required to submit their fingerprint for the background check application.  The FBI Criminal History Report can be submitted to Atlanta Apostille for apostille certification.  We have a Washington, DC, location to expedite the processing of these federal apostilles and authentications.

Apostille for FBI Issued Documents

May 12, 2014 By Atlanta Apostille

FBI fingerprinting apostilleThe FBI does not issue an apostille for FBI-issued background checks.  The U.S. federal government  handles all the apostilles for documents issued by its federal agencies, including the FBI.  To be eligible for an apostille all background checks from the FBI must contain the appropriate signatures, names, and titles of the official and applicant signing the document.  Without such information, the document cannot be approved for an apostille.
